The Mellon Summer Study Fellowship will allow her to conduct site-specific dissertation research on Leonardo’s manuscripts at the Windsor Collection in Berkshire, the British Library, and the Warburg Institute in London.
Giuditta Cirnigliaro (firstname.lastname@example.org) obtained her Laurea degree in Classics and Modern Languages (summa cum laude) from the University of Milan in 2012. She received her B.A. in Fine Arts Painting (summa cum laude) from the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera and her M.A. in Fine Arts (with Distinction) from the Glasgow School of Arts on 2010. In 2008 she was awarded the *LLP Excellence Scholarship* at the Camberwell College of Arts in London, and in the summer of 2014 the *Baden-Wüttemberg-Stipendium* from the University of Konstanz in Germany. Her doctoral research centers on Leonardo's compositional methods in drawings and literary writings, and analyzes recurrent patterns in the production of contemporary creative projects. Her article on Leonardo's Fables appeared in Rivista di Letteratura Italiana (2013).
