I currently teach English Writing at Rutgers University as a full-time teaching instructor. In 2015, I edited 'Dreamscapes in Italian Cinema,' an anthology that examines the oneiric realm in Italian film history (Fairleigh Dickinson University Press), and I have since then published book chapters and essays on filmic representations of motherhood, mourning, and identity. I am currently editing a volume that considers the coding of space and place in world horror film, and I am researching a manuscript on heterotopias and horror film culture. My main field of research encompasses comparative and transnational studies between Italian and foreign cinema, and my current interests include modern and contemporary horror film, Hallyu and contemporary Korean cinema, Italian auteur film of the new millennium, and contemporary queer cinema.
