356 WOMEN IN LITERATURE AND SOCIETY

This interdisciplinary course, taught in English, aims to explore the status, roles, and impact of women in contemporary Italian society, from literature, and the arts, to broader political, social, and cultural issues. Through the close examination of written texts, movies, and theater scripts; oral and written assignments; and, class discussions, the course is designed to foster the development of essential analytical and critical skills that students can apply to diverse historical periods and cultural frameworks.
